Fundraising Partnerships

Our fundraising success depends entirely on locally partnerships both in Zimbabwe and in Australia.

Imvelo Safaris – Local Engagement

Imvelo Safaris dedicates an entire arm of their business to support a community-based approach to tourism. Imvelo Safaris identified Sidinda as a region that has been neglected and required medicinal and educational facilities. Imvelo provides the assistance of a community liaison, Mr Sam Moyo, who assists in all logistical and cultural advisory. We are indebted to Imvelo and Sam, in particular, who is a community leader and innovator.

Fundraising Partners in Australia

Ballarat Grammar School

Ballarat Grammar School has supported SHC Inc with donations of obsolete school equipment, uniforms and educational supplies which have been repurposed
at Sidinda and Mlevu schools.
In 2025, this partnership will focus on a joint project with BGS and SHC in Ballarat to repurpose obsolete school uniforms into functional carry bags to on sell as a fundraiser for SHC. Three very committed groups of ladies in Ballarat and Clunes will embark on this exciting sewing program and all money received will go back to supporting the craft initiatives at the clinics in Zimbabwe.

Wesley College @ Clunes

Wesley College @ Clunes is an 8-week program centred engaging Year 9 students in the broader community. The students fundraise to ‘Break The Cycle’ of poverty every semester.

Local community groups in Clunes, Ballarat and Melbourne all contribute to our fundraising every year.
